Tuesday 9th June Maths – number bonds to 10 star activity (Tuesday maths).

Wednesday 10th June Maths – number bonds to 10 (Wednesday maths).
English – Watch the YouTube video of the Disgusting Sandwich using the link above. Discuss the book with an adult. What happens in the story to the sandwich? Use the worksheet and picture (lesson 2 worksheets) and write sentences for each of the words.
Reading – read a favourite book or listen to an adult read a book to you.
Science – look at the PowerPoint about the senses. Read through and discuss. Do the worksheet matching the senses to the part of the body.

Thursday 11th June Maths – the very hungry caterpillar number bonds to 20 (Thursday maths).
English – listen to the YouTube story of the Disgusting Sandwich again using the link. Make a disgusting sandwich using different bits found in your garden, craft bits, etc. Take a photo of your disgusting sandwich. Label the different parts of your disgusting sandwich.

Friday 12th June English – Look at your photo of the disgusting sandwich that you made yesterday. Write a set of instructions to explain how you made the sandwich.
Geography – look at a bunch of bananas. Count how many there are, discuss what colour and shape they are and what their skin feels like. Peel a banana and taste it. What is the inside of the banana like? Find out where the different fruits from the worksheet (geography) come from. Cut out the fruits and glue them on the map.
Art – this term’s theme is all about fruit and vegetables and sculptures.
