Monday

Maths – Find items in the house e.g. food and drinks. Adult to price the item and to explore coins at home can you find the right amount of money for the objects.

English - Choose a book of your choice to read with an adult or sibling. Discuss the book, what happened in the story? Who was your favourite character and why?

Communication- Turn takins snakes and ladders game.

Topic- Volcano PowerPoint. Use newspaper and glue to create a Paper Mache volcano around a plastic cup.

Friday

Maths- Find items in the house e.g. food and drinks. Adult to price the item and to explore coins at home can you find the right amount of money for the objects.

Food Technology- Volcano shortbread. Shape short bread into volcano shapes. Shortbread recipe - BBC Food.

Once cooled, mix icing sugar, water and red colouring to spread over biscuits.

Topic- Continue with the paper Mache volcano model and once dry pupils can paint the volcano.
