The Ifield SMILE Centre
Ifield SMILE is a consultation, information and training centre. Professionals from schools, other agencies, parents and carers are welcome to visit the SMILE Centre to attend courses and conferences, seek advice and information or to borrow resources.
Resources for Professionals and Families
Ifield SMILE has an extensive selection of books covering a wide range of special educational needs for people to borrow and read. Subjects covered include understanding autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, language and communication difficulties, Down syndrome and behaviour management. The library includes books with advice and ideas on managing practical issues.
Professionals, parents and carers are welcome to visit the SMILE Centre to browse through the library and may take them out on loan, free of charge, anytime during school hours.
